ACCOUNTABILITY

Washington State spent about $82 billion in total across its 2013-15 biennial budget to more than $173 billion in the 2025–27 budget—a staggering increase of more than 110% in just over a decade. During that same time, U.S. inflation has been roughly 35–36%.

Meanwhile, families in Washington are having difficult conversations around the kitchen table about how to make dollars stretch. State government should do the same.

Chris will fight to reduce wasteful spending rather than raise taxes, demand full transparency of how the government spends your money, and work tirelessly to let you keep more of your earnings.

OPPORTUNITY

Washington has been blessed with incredible natural resources and thriving industries like tech and aerospace that can support family-wage jobs.

Now rising taxes and burdensome regulations are increasing costs, slowing growth, and driving all sizes of businesses, and jobs, away.

As your Representative, Chris will champion pro-growth policies that attract jobs, support small businesses, and strengthen our economy.

Chris will work to expand opportunities through skill-building education, college, and the trades so more Washingtonians succeed in the workforce.

Chris will fight to lessen regulations that hinder affordable housing and  for policies that empower families and individuals to thrive right here in our communities.

STRONG & SAFE COMMUNITIES

Safe communities are essential for raising families and building a strong future.

As your Representative, Chris will support our first responders and law enforcement, address Washington’s low police-per-capita levels, and will invest in proven strategies that prevent crime and keep our neighborhoods safe.

Chris will also champion quality education, family resources, veterans services, mental health support, and community programs that equip residents with the tools to thrive.

Chris will advocate for the care of public lands by keeping our parks and trails clean, safe, and accessible.

These priorities make life safer, stronger, and more prosperous for every family in our district.
